Annie Quam Gasper Turquoise Silver Bracelet / Circa 1960’s – 1970’s
Annie Quam (deceased) was a Zuni Pueblo jeweler whose complex designs and
perfect lapidary gained her many awards and world wide attention.
When Annie retired from jewelry, she pursued lapidary… stone fetish carvings
with beautiful inlay… ancient pictographs and petroglyphs… both Rhoda and
Jayne pursued this idea as well… the roots of which are pre-historic
Jayne Quam has let that vision develop into a beautiful, new, abstract art form…
where Rhoda weaves her visions into the very fabric of the stone.
